Jakarta, 23 December 2022: Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) has launched new safety initiatives as part of its ongoing commitment to provide a safe working environment for its 3,000-motorcycle fleet, used by the sales team in Indonesia to visit customer outlets and take orders. The initiative includes a pilot program with Rider Dome, a Singapore based company developing an Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS) providing motorcycle riders with real-time alerts against critical threats on the road to prevent accidents before they happen.
The Rider Dome AI-led system comes with a processing unit that will trigger real-time alerts in the form of light and sound for the riders when safety risks such as collision alerts or blind spot warning are detected. The project that will start with a selected number of riders in Jakarta area, will help to prevent accidents and keep the riders’ safety on the busy streets. The data collected from Rider Dome system, will allow CCEP Indonesia’s fleet managers to measure and improve their riders’ safety and to track and measure the condition of the fleet.
In addition, Rider Dome also comes with a dedicated rider mobile app that monitors the rider’s journey on the motorcycle, provides analytics, and calls emergency services in case of an accident.
